DISTRICT FOR EIGHT (8) LOTS WITH E (ESTATE) ZONE USES AND ONE (1) LOT
WITH A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE USES - CATTAIL CREEK GROUP, LLC
A public hearing was conducted on September 24th,2003,at 10:00 a.m.,with the following present:
Commissioner David E. Long, Chair
Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Pro-Tem
Commissioner M. J. Geile
Commissioner William H. Jerke
Commissioner Glenn Vaad - EXCUSED
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Carol Harding
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated,August 29,2003,and mailed to surrounding property
owners on September 4, 2003, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Cattail
Creek Group, LLC, to consider whether there has been a substantial change in the facts and
circumstances regarding the application for Change of Zone#613 from the A(Agricultural)Zone
District to a PUD (Planned Unit Development)Zone District for eight(8) lots with E (Estate)Zone
uses and one (1) lot with A (Agricultural) Zone uses, which was denied by the Board of County
Commissioners by Resolution dated October 2, 2002. Lee Morrison,Assistant County Attorney,
made this a matter of record and stated the notice was e-mailed to the legal newspaper; however,
due to failure of the County's e-mail system, the notice was not received at the South Weld Sun.
He further stated Clerk to the Board staff subsequently rescheduled the hearing,mailed corrected
notices,and arranged for publication. Therefore,the appropriate motion would be to continue this
hearing to October 8, 2003, at 10:00 a.m.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Masden moved to continue this matter to October 8,2003,at 10:00 a.m. The motion
was seconded by Commissioner Geile, and it carried unanimously. There being no further
discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
