RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO LOCAL JUVENILE
SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that John Gates be appointed to said committee
as the School District#6 representative, to replace Norma Eitemiller, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that John Gates be appointed to said Committee, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that John Gates be, and hereby is, recommended for appointment to
replace Norma Eitemiller.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of October, A.D., 2003.
