RE: AUTHORIZE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH SOUTHWEST WELD
DRAINAGE AUTHORITY TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there is a need to set up a new fund through
the Weld County Treasurer's Office for the administration of the Southwest Weld Drainage
Authority Trust Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Southwest Weld Drainage Authority Trust Fund be, and
hereby is, introduced into the Weld County Accounting system, and that the Weld County
Treasurer be, and hereby is authorized to establish said Fund accordingly.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that all interest accruing to monies in this
fund shall be deposited in this fund.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said fund shall cease upon receipt of notification to
the Weld County Treasurer's Office that the Southwest Weld Drainage Authority has
established its own accounting and administrative system.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 26th day of February, A.D., 2003.
