SUBJECT: Request for Continuance
2ndAmUSR 274 - Duke Energy
The Department of Planning Services is requesting a continuance for case number 2ndAmUSR
274, the applicant is Duke Energy. The Weld County Board of County Commissioners have
directed this department to utilize the Southwest Weld County Administrative Office's hearing
room for Land Use Cases that are located in the southern portion of the County. Given this
directive, staff is asking for a continuance. Further, it is the understanding of this office that the
applicant is requesting this later date to address the issue of mineral owner notification. The
applicant has verbally stated they have no objection and have confirmed this via e-mail.
This case will be scheduled for the February 18, 2003 hearing.
