RE: APPROVAL OF CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF LINCOLN AVENUE IN LUCERNE
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners has received a
request to close a portion of Lincoln Avenue between Maple Street
and Olive Street in Lucerne, and
WHEREAS , the Board heard the testimony presented concerning
said closure and after considering the same, finds that the
closure of that portion of Lincoln Avenue in Lucerne, Colorado,
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the closure of the
portion of Lincoln Avenue between Maple Street and Olive Street in
Lucerne, Colorado, be and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the right-of-way to
that portion of Lincoln Avenue be , and hereby is, retained for
possible future use.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of
December, A.D. , 1984 .
