ARTICLE 2
THE WORK

structing a ramp at main entrance, constructing an exterior stairway

ARTICLE 3

LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: If the work embraced by this contract is not com-
pleted on or before the date set for completion or any extension there-
of, the actual damages for delay will be impossible to determine and in
lieu thereof, the Contractor shall pay to the Owner as fixed, agreed and
liquidated damage, the sum of fifty dollars ($50) per day for each calen-
dar day of delay until the work is satisfactorily completed. Whatever
sums may be due the Owner as liquidated damages for delay may be deducted
from payments due the Contractor or may be collected from the Contractor
or Contractor' s surety.

The Owner shall retain ten percent (10%) of the amount of each payment
until final completion and acceptance of all work covered by the Con-
tract Documents. The Owner may reduce the retainage to five percent
(5%) on the current and remaining estimates after fifty percent (50%)
of the work has been completed, if he finds that satisfactory progress
is being made.
Payment requested on the basis of materials and equipment not yet in-
corporated in the Work, but delivered and suitably stored at or near
the job site , shall be accompanied by supporting data (e. i. invoice,
etc. ) satisfactory to the Owner. Otherwise payment for such materials
on site will not be made.

FINAL PAYMENT

ARTICLE 7
