RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM LIFEBRIDGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH TO PRE-ADVERTISE
CHANGE OF ZONE#1004
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from LifeBridge Christian Church, 10345
Ute Highway, Longmont, Colorado 80504, c/o Tetra Tech, RMC, Inc., 1900 South Sunset
Street, Suite 1-F, Longmont, Colorado 80501, for pre-advertisement of an application for
Change of Zone #1004 from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the PUD (Planned Unit
Development) Zone District with E (Estate), R-1 (Low-Density Residential), R-2 (Duplex
Residential), R-3 (Medium Density Residential), R-4 (High Density Residential), C-1
(Neighborhood Commercial); and C-2 (General Commercial) zone uses, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot B of Recorded Exemption #1398; being
part of Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as May 7, 2003, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from LifeBridge Christian Church for pre-
advertisement of an application for Change of Zone #1004 be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as May 7, 2003, at 10:00 a.m.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Pre-advertisement
LifeBridge Christian Church has submitted a request that the application for Change of Zone
#1004, which will be heard by the Planning Commission on April 22, 2003, be pre-advertised. If
you wish to approve this request, a hearing before the Board on May 7, 2003, will allow adequate
time for advertising.

SUBJECT: PZ-1004, LifeBridge Christian Church
Request for Pre-Advertisement
The applicant, Bruce Grinnell, of LifeBridge Christian Church and the applicant's representative,
Barb Brunk of Tetra Tech/ Rocky Mountain Consultants, respectively requests the Board of
County Commissioners to consider their request for a pre-advertisement / pre-notification for
the above referenced case.
Their request is based on legal notification not provided in the County's newspaper of record.
The case was originally scheduled for March 18, 2003 and has been continued to a Special
Planning Commissioner hearing of April 22, 2003. Attached is their letter dated March 13, 2003
requesting this pre-advertisement/ pre-notification.
The Department of Planning Services is in support of this request.

RE: LifeBridge PUD Change of Zone
Dear Kim:
Based on extenuating circumstances, LifeBridge Christian Church is requesting pre-notification of
the Board of County Commissioners hearing for LifeBridge PUD Change of Zone. It is our
understanding that the Weld County Planning Commission will review this request at a special
meeting, to be held on April 22, 2003. We request that the Board of County Commissioners
schedule this application for a public hearing on May 7, 2003.
