RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO THE COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND
THE OFFICE OF THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , an agreement between the Department of Social
Services and the office of the Weld County Attorney had been
entered into on January 1 , 1984 , and
WHEREAS , said agreement stated that the County Attorney ' s
Office would cover any Court hearings in the event the IV-D
staff attorney would be unable to be present, and
WHEREAS , an amendment to said agreement has now been pre-
sented to the Board which amends the budget amount from $1 ,000
to $7 , 000 , which is necessary because of the resignation of the
IV-D staff attorney, and
WHEREAS, the Board, after review, deems it advisable to
approve the Amendment to Agreement, a copy of which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to Agree-
ment, increasing the budget amount from $1 ,000 to $7 , 000 for the
back-up coverage provided by the County Attorney' s Office be,
and hereby is , approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be ,
and hereby is, authorized to sign said Amendment to Agreement.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
