Mr. Glenn Vaad
Chairman, Greeley/Weld County Airport Authority Board
Dear Glenn
As I informed you earlier this week I am submitting my resignation from the Airport
Authority Board. This is not an easy decision as I have enjoyed my eight and one half
years on the board very much. I have seen the airport grow and change so much during
that time that I can really say it is a totally new and completely different entity from 1994
when I first joined the board.
I have enjoyed the frustrations, successes, and every individual I have met and worked
with. We have a very efficient and fair structure at this time and I feel confident that the
operation will continue to serve the community extremely well.
My reason for leaving at this time is that I cannot devote the time to the board, airport
staff, tenets, and users that I feel the board position requires. I work full time for Platte
Valley School District RE-7, operate a family farm, and have two fantastic teenagers at
home which takes every minute of my time and then some.
I wish the airport the best and hope to do further community service in the future when I
have more time to devote.
Thankyou /C\
Bruce E. Stradley
Secretary/Treasurer
