RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Colleen Flack be reappointed to said board,and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Brad Leafgren be appointed to said board to
replace Joe Intermill;and that Carol Karre be appointed to said board to replace Tim Croissant,and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Colleen Flack, and to appoint Brad
Leafgren and Carol Karre to said board, with terms to expire November 1, 2006.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Colleen Flack be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Extension Advisory
Council, with a term to expire November 1, 2006.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Brad Leafgren and Carol Karre be, and
hereby are,appointed to the Extension Advisory Council,to replace Joe Intermill and Tim Croissant,
respectively, with terms to expire November 1, 2006.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 1st day of December, A.D., 2003.
