RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-
WAY OF WELD COUNTY ROADS 23 AND 62.25 TO PUBLIC ACCESS, EXCEPTING
ACCESS BY EMERGENCY AND MAINTENANCE VEHICLES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a request for closure of a portion of the
right-of-way of Weld County Roads 23 and 62.25 to public access, excepting access by
emergency and maintenance vehicles, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 30th day of April, 2003, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to allow the County Attorney
adequate time to provide notification of the proposal to the adjacent property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
May 14, 2003, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of April, A.D., 2003.
