RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER FOR COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS PAROLE
INTENSIVE SUPERVISION SERVICES AND PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Change Order Letter for Community
Corrections Parole Intensive Supervision Services and Programs between the County of Weld,
State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on
behalf of the Community Corrections Board, and the Colorado Department of Corrections,
Division of Adult Parole, commencing July 1, 2002, and ending June 30, 2003, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said change order letter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said change order
letter, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Change Order Letter for Community Corrections Parole
Intensive Supervision Services and Programs between the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Community Corrections Board, and Colorado Department of Corrections, Division of Adult
Parole, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said change order letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of March, A.D., 2003, nunc pro tunc July 1, 2002.

CHANGE ORDER LETTER

Contractor:
Pursuant to paragraph 1.A.3) of the Contract between the Department of Corrections, Division of Adult
Parole Supervision and Board of Commissioners of Weld County, the Division of Adult Parole
Supervision hereby notifies you that the maximum amount payable from the State of Colorado
community corrections parole intensive supervision services and programs under Contract Number
O2CAA000046, covering the period July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003, is hereby increased by $4,000
to a new total of$29,000. The rates remain unchanged.
Paragraph 1.A.2)of Contract O2CAA 000046 shall now read: "$57,000".
This amendment to the Contract is intended to be effective April 1, 2003 but in no event shall this
amendment be deemed valid until the State Controller or his designee has approved it.
Please sign,date and return all copies of this Letter on or before March 15,2003.

Dear Ms. Zuber,
The Division of Adult Parole has projected expenses for your contract 02CAA00046
through June 30, 2003. Based upon these projections, your contract will need to be increased by
$4,000 to cover estimated expenses. Attached is a Change Order Letter which will accomplish
the increase. When signed and approved by all required parties, your total amount will become
$29,000. Please sign five original copies and return to John Vidor at:
