RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO LOCAL JUVENILE
SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kyle Ragland be appointed to said
committee as the Social Services representative, to replace Gloria Romansik; that Brendon
Kelley be appointed as the Public Defender's representative, to replace Stephanie Hewitt; that
Norma Eitermiller be appointed as the School District#6 representative, to replace Jon Eastin;
that Maurice Williams be appointed as the Division of Youth Corrections representative, to
replace Paul Cooper; that Julie Hoskins, Weld County Magistrate, be appointed to replace Dave
Melusky; and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Din Tuttle, Weld County Magistrate, be
removed from said Committee with no replacement.
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Kyle Ragland, Brendon Kelley, Norma Eitermiller, Maurice
Williams, and Julie Hoskins be appointed to said Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Din Tuttle, Weld County Magistrate, be removed from said
Committee with no replacement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Kyle Ragland be, and hereby is, appointed to said committee as the
Social Services representative, to replace Gloria Romansik; that Brendon Kelley be, and hereby
is, appointed as the Public Defender's representative, to replace Stephanie Hewitt; that Norma
Eitermiller be, and hereby is, appointed as the School District#6 representative, to replace Jon
Eastin; that Maurice Williams be, and hereby is, appointed as the Division of Youth Corrections
representative, to replace Paul Cooper; that Julie Hoskins, Weld County Magistrate, be, and
hereby is, appointed to replace Dave Melusky;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Din Tuttle, Weld County Magistrate, be, and hereby is, removed from said
Committee.
