PAWNEE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS WILL BE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
A Petition for the formation and organization of a special district
to be known as the PAWNEE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT has been filed with
and is now pending in this Court.
A general description of the boundaries of the proposed special
district, which lies entirely within Weld County, Colorado, is as
follows:
THE PROPOSED AREA COMPRISES THE TOTAL OF WELD COUNTY
PAWNEE SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-12, APPROXIMATELY 708 SQUARE
MILES. IT INCLUDES THE INCORPORATED AREA OF GROVER AND
THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF HEREFORD AND KEOTA. THE
PROPOSED SERVICE AREA EXTENDS NORTH TO THE WYOMING
STATE LINE, SOUTH TO THE BRIGGSDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-10J,
AND EAST TO THE NEW RAYMER SCHOOL DISTRICT RE-11J.
The purpose of the proposed special district will be to provide fire
protection within the proposed service area as above described with
future possibilities of providing ambulance service and for the purpose
of establishing necessary protection of life and property within the
proposed service area.
The Court has Ordered that hearing _of such Petition will be held on

of 9".? o'clock .M. in Divi ion Z of this Court, located
at the corner of 9th Avenue & 9th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80631.
The owner of any real property located within the proposed special
district may file a Petition with this Court stating reasons why such
property should not be included within the proposed special district and
requesting that said real property be excluded from the proposed special
district. Such Petitions for exclusion shall be verified, shall
describe the property to be excluded, and must be filed with this Court
not later than ten (10) days prior to the hearing date as set forth
