As a result of reviewing the preliminary resolution drafted by the clerk of the board and the copy
of the improvements agreement, the church is asking that the provisions for collateral and for the
completion of improvements within one year after final plan approval be modified.
The transportation and non-transportation items do not impact the community....only the use of
the proposed building. These items will be completed within the time frame of constructing the
proposed building. Therefore, the church is asking that these items be omitted and replaced in
Item 3 of the resolution with a statement that all transportation and non-transportation items must
be completed within the time frame of the building permit and prior to the occupancy of the
proposed building.
This gives the county the proposed building for collateral to assure that the improvements will be
completed. it allows the church to complete the work within the construction time frame for the
proposed building and to avoid collateral on work and material that is mostly donated.
