RE: CLOSING OF LIBRARY EXPANSION SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has advised the Board
of County Commissioners that the Library Expansion Project has been completed
and the Library Expansion Savings Account is no longer required, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has recommended that
the Fund be closed and that any remaining funds in the Library Expansion
Savings Account be transferred to the General Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Library Expansion Savings Account be closed
upon the completion of all necessary transactions, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado that the Director of Finance and Administration is hereby
authorized and directed to make the necessary accounting transaction to
accomplish the above closure at the time that all transactions are completed,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners, the Treasurer
of Weld County is hereby authorized to close the aforementioned trust fund at
such time as the Director of Finance and Administration notifies him of the
completion of all transactions, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the Director of Finance and Administration and Treasurer are
hereby authorized to make the appropriate transfer of funds to the General
Fund as soon as appropriate in 1980.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of June, A.D. , 1980.
