RE: APPROVAL OF TEMPORARY PERMIT FOR A RETAIL 3.2 PERCENT BEER LICENSE
FOR M AND G VENTURES, LLC, DBA SHELL #7
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, M and G Ventures, LLC, dba Shell #7, 10963 1-25 Access Road, Longmont,
Colorado 80501, presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,an
application for a Transfer of Ownership of a Retail 3.2 Percent Beer License, for the sale of 3.2
percent fermented malt beverages in sealed containers not for consumption at the place where
sold, said License previously held by Equilon Enterprises, LLC, dba Shell Oil Products US (Store
#1407), and
WHEREAS,Section 12-47-106.5, C.R.S.,which became effective July 1, 1991, allows for
the issuance by the Board of County Commissioners of a temporary permit to the transferee of an
existing liquor license to authorize the transferee to conduct business and sell alcoholic beverages
at retail in accordance with said license, subject to compliance with certain conditions, and
WHEREAS,M and G Ventures,LLC, has complied with all of the conditions set forth in said
Section, and
WHEREAS,M and G Ventures,LLC,has also submitted the required application fee for said
temporary permit of$100.00.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that having examined said application and other qualifications of the applicant for
the transfer of the Retail 3.2 Percent Beer License and having considered said request for a
temporary permit,does hereby grant to M and G Ventures, LLC,dba Shell#7, 109631-25 Access
Road, Longmont, Colorado 80501, a Temporary Permit to conduct business and sell 3.2 percent
fermented malt beverages in sealed containers not for consumption at the place where sold,at retail
at said location in accordance with the license previously held by Equilon Enterprises, LLC, dba
Shell Oil Products US(Store#1407),subject to all other rules and regulations set forth bythe Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, for a period of 120 days, or until such time
as the application for Transfer of Ownership is approved by the State of Colorado,whichever shall
occur first.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be,and hereby is, authorized to
sign said permit.

PLEASE POST NEAR EXISTING LICENSE
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
On the 23rd day of June,2003, M and G Ventures, LLC,dba Shell#7,submitted to an application
fora Transfer of Ownership fora Retail 3.2 Percent Beer License,with said license previously being
held by Equilon Enterprises,LLC,dba Shell Oil Products US(Store#1407),and expiring on July 15,
2003. Until the Transfer of Ownership has been considered by the Board of Commissioners and
notification has been received from the State advising whether this Transfer of Ownership request
has been approved or disapproved,the Board hereby authorizes the continued sale of 3.2 percent
fermented malt beverages in sealed containers not for consumption at the place where sold at this
establishment which is located at 109631-25 Access Road, Longmont, Colorado 80501, under a
Temporary Permit which has been approved by the Board, effective on June 25, 2003. This
Temporary Permit allows M and G Ventures, LLC, dba Shell#7,to conduct business and sell 3.2
percent fermented malt beverages in sealed containers not for consumption at the place where
sold,at retail at said location in accordance with the license previously held by Equilon Enterprises,
LLC,dba Shell Oil Products US(Store#1407),subject to all other rules and regulations set forth by
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,for a period of 120 days, or until
such time as the application for Transfer of Ownership is approved by the State of Colorado,
whichever shall occur first.
