RE: APPROVE FOUR REVISED NOTIFICATION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AWARDS
FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -ACKERMAN AND
ASSOCIATES, P.C.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with four Revised Notification of Financial
Assistance Awards between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Social Services, and
Ackerman and Associates, P.C., commencing March 1, 2003, and ending May 31, 2003, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said revised awards for the following programs:
1) Sex Abuse Treatment
2) Intensive Family Therapy- Short Term IFT (GAP) and Mediated Family
Conflict Resolution
3) Intensive Family Therapy- Family Group Decision Making
4) Option B - Home Based Intensive, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said revised awards,
copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, ex-officio Board of Social Services, that the four Revised Notification of
Financial Assistance Awards for the above listed programs between the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of
the Department of Social Services, and Ackerman and Associates, P.C., be, and hereby are,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said revised awards.

RE: Revisions to Notification of Financial Assistance Awards
(NOFAAs) with Ackerman and Associates, Inc.
Enclosed for Board approval are revisions to Notification of Financial Assistance Awards
(NOFAAs)with Ackerman and Associates, Inc. These revised NOFAAs were discussed
and reviewed at the Board's Work Session held on March 3, 2003.
The purpose of the revisions are to reflect lower rates for the four programs authorized
under Core Services Programs, as follows:
Current Proposed
1. Sex Abuse Treatment: $104 per hour $70 per hour
$35 group
2. Intensive Family Therapy: $104 per hour $70 per hour
3. Option B—Home Based: $104 per hour $80 per hour
4. Family Group Decision Making: $84 per hour $70 per hour
$2,100/session $1,750/session
The revised NOFAAs would become effective March 1, 2003 through May 31, 2003. All other
provisions of the Original NOFAAs will remain the same. -
