RESOLUTION
RE : AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE QUIT CLAIM DEED
BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND KENNETH D. AND BETTY A. THOMPSON,
FOR CERTAIN REAL ESTATE OWNED BY WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statutes and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering has informed the
Board of County Commissioners that there is a certain parcel
of land owned by Weld County, more particularly described as
follows , to-wit:
Lots 13 and 14, Block 4 , Town of Buckingham,
County of Weld, Colorado
said parcel of land is no longer needed by Weld County, Colorado
and on August 12 , 1981, the Board of County Commissioners
declared said property as surplus and placed it up for bid, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to action taken by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on September 23 , 1981,
the bid of Kenneth D. and Betty A. Thompson, husband and wife,
P. 0. Box 127 , New Raymer, Colorado 80742 , was accepted for the
total sum of Four hundred twelve and no/100 Dollars ($412 . 00)
for Lots 13 and 14 , Block 4 in the Town of Buckingham, Colorado.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, deem it necessary to authorize the Chairman of the
Board to sign a Quit Claim deed for said property to Kenneth
D. and Betty A. Thompson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of
the Board of County Commissioners , for and on behalf of said
Board, be and hereby is authorized to sign the Quit Claim deed
for Kenneth D. and Betty A. Thompson of P. 0. Box 127 , New
Raymer, Colorado 80742 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th
day of January A.D. , 1982 .
