The interest of RME Petroleum Company (fka Union Pacific Resources Company fka Champlin Petroleum Company) in the oil and gas underlying the captioned lands is a term interest granted by Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation(now RME Land Corporation)to Champlin Petroleum Company in a Term Mineral Deed dated September 19, 1972, recorded November 30, 1972 in Book 681 at Reception No 1602712 for a term of "one year and so long thereafter as the Subject Lands, or any portion thereof, are subject or committed to an oil and gas lease or to a communitization, pooling, unitization, operating agreement or other agreement covering the exploration or development for or the production of oil, gas or associated liquid hydrocarbons, or so long as a well capable of producing oil or gas is located upon any portion of the Subject Lands, or drilling or reworking operations are being conducted thereon, and, upon the the termination of said oil and gas lease or of said communitization, pooling, unitization, operating or other agreement, or upon the abandonment of said well or upon the the cessation of said drilling or reworking operation,whichever last occurs,the Oil and Gas Rights herein granted and conveyed shall thereupon revert to and be owned by Grantor, its successors or assigns." The lands covered by this grant included 2 the captioned lands and other lands containing 5,844.08 acres (the"Subject Lands") Within one year after the grant of the term mineral interest the Subject Lands were leased for oil and gas development to by Champlin Petroleum Company to Amoco Production Company (Book 681 at Reception No 1602713). The captioned lands have been released from that lease but it is likely still in force as to some of the other lands covered and held by production. If, however. Production has ceased on all of the Subject Lands and on lands pooled or communitized or unitized therewith, or if the lease has been released as to all of the Subject Lands,then the oil and gas ownership in the captioned lands has reverted to RME Land Corporation. 2.
