FIRE EMERGENCY ACTIVITIES
1. Call 911 .
2. Evacuate any employee in danger.
3. Use fire extinguishers, where possible.
4. Notify Owner, Faye Jamison 1-303-857-4538 and
Manager, Mike Jaso 1-303-857-6728.
5. Call all employees to report for duty.
6. Clear all fire lanes in fire vicinity by removing all non-essential
equipment and flammable materials from fire area.
7. Start and move heavy equipment into position.
8. Begin building earthen berm around the burning tire cell.
9. Begin moving dirt from adjacent fire lane onto burning area.
10. Confer with Fire Department safety officer and directives regarding risks
and accountability.
11 . Maintain security regarding curiosity seekers and unauthorized
volunteers by requiring identification of all personnel.
12. Learn of availability of protective and respiratory equipment.
13. Notify personnel of central control and sanitation facilities.
14. Upon fire extinguishment, maintain vigilance over potential hot spots or
areas of smoldering.
