RE: APPOINTMENT OF PASQUALE PERSICHINO AS DIRECTOR OF PERSONNEL.
• WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Lewis Richard Barrett, Jr. , current Director of Personnel, has
resigned his position as of June 3, 1983, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has gone through a selection
process, and
WHEREAS, Pasquale (Pat) Persichino has been recommended as the new
Director of Personnel for Weld County, effective concurrent with Mr. Barrett's
resignation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County that Pasquale (Pat) Persichino is hereby appointed Director of
Personnel concurrent with the resignation of Lewis Richard Barrett, Jr. on
June 3, 1983.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of may , A.D. , 1982.

Dear Don:
It is with mixed emotions that I write you this letter to
inform you of my intended resignation as the Director of
Personnel for Weld County. My resignation is to be effec-
tive June 3rd , 1983.
It is time that I move on to something new for me , and I 'm
sure that Weld County can use some new and exciting approaches
to the Personnel arena. I have enjoyed my association with
Weld County and its people , and will always look upon my time
here as a very good and satisfying experience.
A very special place in my memory will always be reserved for
you. The past five years working with you has not only taught
me so much, but you have made it such a pleasure. You are
truely a remarkable and talented young man with no limit to
your future. I will always treasure your friendship.
I would appreciate your informing the Board of my decision,
and would you express to them the very high regard that I
personally have for each of them. Weld County is indeed for-
tunate to have produced leaders of their quality and of the
quality of their predecessors.
