It depends on how much we believe that the sale is actually going to happen . In her case, I would be
skeptical but if she can produce a contract for sale i would give her time to close if she has a real estate
listing you could give her a few weeks. I would anticipate youwill need to proceed given her past history.

I spoke to Judy Oakley this morning. She runs a kennel facility off of County Road 18. There have been
complaints from neighboring property owners in regards to sick animals, too many animals... Char Davis
& myself went out to the site in late December and were denied access to the facility. I was calling to
inform her (with a follow up letter) that this was a violation of the development standards for USR-828
(Planning & Health Department personnel shall have access at all times) and that an inspection time
would need to be arranged or we would schedule a show cause hearing before the Commissioners. Judy
indicated that she has her property listed for sale and hopes to be leaving within 2 weeks to a month. She
indicated that she was cleaning up the property and no kennel facilities would remain. I requested that
she relay this information to me in writing and gave her the County fax number. She indicated she would
get me this within 2 weeks.
Bethany& Lee: How do we typically deal with this type of situation? (Move ahead with the violation
process? or place it on hold?)
