RE: RE-APPOINTMENT OF CHARLES LEDALL, HARVEY COE, DON NORGREN,
GUY ELLIOTT AND DOROTHY ZABKA AND APPOINTMENT OF CLAIR ORR
AND LOIS ONORATO TO THE WELD COUNTY FAIR BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, seven vacancies currently exist on the Weld County
Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis-
able to re-appoint Charles Ledall of Eaton; Harvey Coe of Greeley;
Don Norgren of Platteville; Guy Elliott of Greeley; and Dorothy
Zabka of Greeley to said Fair Board for 3-year terms to expire
on October 31 , 1983 , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners further deems
it advisable to appoint Clair Orr of Orchard and Lois Onorato
of Milliken to said Fair Board for 3-year terms to expire on
October 31, 1983 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that Charles Ledall, Harvey
Coe, Don Norgren, Guy Elliott and Dorothy Zabka be, and hereby
are, re-appointed to the Weld County Fair Board for 3-year terms
to expire on October 31, 1983, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado that Clair Orr and Lois Onorato be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Weld County Fair Board for 3-year
terms to expire on October 31, 1983.

SUBJECT: Fair Board Appointments
A nomination committee of the Fair Board, consisting of Barbara
Schneider, Harold Herbst and Randy Knutson, has presented fourteen
(14) candidates for the Fair Board Members to vote upon. The candidates
are listed according to the results of the popular ballot. The rankings
are submitted to you for use in making the Commissioners' appointments.
The appointments necessary are seven (7) for terms of three (3)
years to expire on October 31 , 1983.
We would appreciate having you act on these names at one of your
earliest meetings so we can proceed with the schedule for the annual
meeting of the Fair Board on Monday, November 3rd.
The seven appointments need to be included among those who will
attend the annual meeting.

Weld County Fair Resume'
15 member Fair Board was established March 4, 1970.
March 6, 1974 - the board was increased to 21 .
September 8, 1975 - The annual meeting date was changed from the
1st meeting in January to the 1st meeting in November.
March 12, 1969 - Changed name from Weld County Harvest Fair
Association to Weld County Fair.
