COLORADO RE: Change Order No. 1 for WCR 47 Potholing Contract
The potholing/utility-locating has been completed for the contract for potholing services on WCR 47,
between WCR 50 & 54. The contract was set up based upon a cost per pothole. There were 34 potholes
initially estimated. The cost from Colorado Boring Company was $125/pothole for a total contract
amount of$4,250.00. After utility locates were performed, it was determined that more potholes would
be needed to avoid conflicts with utilities during road construction. Colorado Boring Company finished
60 potholes total. This is an increase of 26 potholes at $125/pothole for a total change order increase of
$3,250.00. The final contract amount with the change order would be $7,500.00.
