RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING NONEXCLUSIVE LICENSE AGREEMENT
FOR UPGRADE AND MAINTENANCE OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 21 RIGHT-OF-
WAY AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -THE S AND J COMPANY, INC., AND
ROUSE FARMS COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Nonexclusive License Agreement for
the Upgrade and Maintenance of Weld County Road 21 Right-of-Way, between the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and The Sand J Company, Inc., and Rouse Farms
Company, P.O. Box 77, Carr, Colorado 80612, with terms and conditions being as stated in said
agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said agreement to
September 22, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., to allow time to formulate more specific plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Nonexclusive License Agreement for the Upgrade and
Maintenance of Weld County Road 21 Right-of-Way, between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Department of Public Works, and The Sand J Company, Inc., and Rouse Farms Company be,
and hereby is, continued to September 22, 2004, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of September, A.D., 2004.
