RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS CONCERNING THE
SITE APPLICATION OF THE ERIE WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT
FOR A SEWAGE TREATMENT FACILITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Erie Water and Sanitation District has sub-
mitted to the Board of County Commissioners an application for
site approval of a new sewage treatment facility, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners , after studying
said application, desires to issue a "no comment" since no deci-
sion can be made as to approval or disapproval of the application
until a Special Use Permit application has been made and a hearing
has been held.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that a "no comment" is hereby
issued by the Board of County Commissioners concerning the site
application of the Erie Water and Sanitation District for a new
sewage treatment facility for the reason stated herein.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
May, A.D. , 1981.
