RE: APPROVE CHANGE ORDER LETTER#1 TO AGREEMENT FOR NON-RESIDENTIAL
INTENSIVE SUPERVISION SERVICES PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN-
THE RESTITUTION CENTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with Change Order Letter#1 to Agreement for
Non-Residential Intensive Supervision Services Program between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Community Corrections Board,and The Restitution Center,commencing July 1,2003,and ending
June 30, 2004, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said letter, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said letter, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Change Order Letter #1 to Agreement for Non-Residential Intensive
Supervision Services Program between the County of Weld,State of Colorado,by and through the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,on behalf of the Community Corrections Board,
and The Restitution Center be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be,and hereby is,authorized to
sign said letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of March, A.D., 2004, nunc pro tunc July 1, 2003.

Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Exhibit B(Allocation Letter)to the contract between the Department
ofPublic Safety,Division of Criminal Justice(DCJ),and the Board of Commissioners of Weld
County, DCJ hereby notifies you that the maximum amount payable from the State under
Allocation Letter# 04-19 to Contract#DCJ 00-04-19, covering the period July 1, 2003
BM Owens through June 30,2004,is hereby changed. The maximum amount payable for diversion non-

SUBJECT: Change Order Letter#1 / FY 2003-04 TTTIII
Attached are three copies of Change Order Letter#1 for the fiscal year 2003-04. This
letter reduces the funding amount for diversion non-residential placements at The
Restitution Center.
Please sign all three copies and retune them to me. I will forward them to the Division
of Criminal Justice for State official's signature. When I have received a signed copy, I
will forward it to your office.
I respectfully request this item be placed on the Monday, March 1, 2004 board meeting
agenda.
