RE : APPOINTMENT OF DREW SCHELTINGA AS ACTING COUNTY ENGINEER
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, has accepted the letter of resignation submitted by
Wayne Smyth as County Engineer, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Drew
Scheltinga as Acting County Engineer, and
WHEREAS, the Board feels Drew Scheltinga should receive
a 10% salary increase as compensation for the additional
responsibilities as Acting County Engineer, until such time
as a County Engineer is appointed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Drew Scheltinga
be, and hereby is , appointed as Acting County Engineer and
shall receive a 10% salary increase until a County Engineer
is appointed, at which time said salary increase shall cease.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th
day of November, A.D. , 1981.
