RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF WELD
COUNTY ROAD 17 NORTH OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 32 -SHERRY REDMOND AND
ELVERNA BURCHFIELD LIVING TRUST
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with a Petition to vacate a portion of Weld County
Road 17 north of Weld County Road 32 for Sherry Redmond and Elverna Burchfield Living Trust,
do Don Jones, McFeeders Realty Appraisal and Management, LLC, and
WHEREAS,a hearing before the Board was held on the 8th day of March, 2004, at which
time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter three weeks to allow staff time to draft
an agreement proposing a trade for right-of-way located east of existing Weld County Road 17.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that the abovementioned matter be,and hereby is,continued to March 29,2004,
at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 8th day of March, A.D., 2004.
