Equipment Parking
Dear Kim:
Aggregate Industries-WCR, Inc. (AI) is associated with the Colorado Department of Transportation's 1-25
Corridor Reconstruction Project No.358-2103 (TREX)under various contracts with Southeast Corridor
Constructors and Kiewit Construction. Per agreement with these contractors,AI proposes to designate a
parcel of land within the above-referenced USR for parking of equipment from the TREX project,with
said area to be enclosed with a security fence. We would anticipate that equipment from the project may
be parked in this area over the next three to four years. The parking area is within the 1-3 zone, southwest
of the intersection of U.S. Highway 85 and Weld County Road 6. Enclosed for your reference is a copy
of the portion of the USR map showing this area,which is located in Cell 5.
I appreciate your confirmation during our telephone call today that parking of equipment from the TREX
project in this area is acceptable under AI's approved USR. As you requested,this letter is provided to
Weld County Planning Services for its record of this notice. If you have any questions or need further
