Masden, Chair Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tern Commissioner M. J. Geile Commissioner David E. Long Commissioner Glenn Vaad - EXCUSED Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Carol A. Harding Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 3,2004,and duly published September 8, 2004, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Beau Rappel and Jed Rappel for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1393 for a Commercial Roping Arena(indoor/outdoor)in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison,Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services,stated the property was not posted on a timely basis,therefore, he requested the Board continue this item to September 29,2004,at 10:00 a.m. He stated he has already posted the sign in order to meet the posting requirements for the hearing to be held next week, and the applicant's representative has no conflict for that time. No public testimony was offered concerning this matter. Commissioner Long moved to continue the request of Beau Rappel and Jed Rappel for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1393 for a Commercial Roping Arena (indoor/outdoor) in the A(Agricultural)Zone District, to September 29, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Jerke, and it carried unanimously.
