RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION VI#0300254 AGAINST GLORIA RAMIREZ AND INES PLIEGO FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Gloria Ramirez and Ines Pliego, VI #0300254, are allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS, on the 9th day of March, 2004, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Gloria Ramirez and Ines Pliego were not present or represented at said hearing,although all parties were notified of said hearing by Department of Planning Services staff, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to refer said violation back to the Department of Planning Services for further consideration. See below: Mobile home was setup over 10 years ago for farm use by Mr. Sloan, a prior owner. Farm was purchased from Richard and Heidi Robertson on November 27, 2002. We purchased the property with the understanding that the mobile home was set and we will be able to keep. Gloria's parents relocated from Texas in January 2003 and are now occupying the mobile home. Gloria's father is 77 years old and her mother is 60 years old, even though they are not medically handicapped they do depend on Gloria to run most of their errands such as their banking, grocery shopping, and drive them to doctor's visits. The residence on the Farm is a two bedroom, one-bath, 950 sq. ft. home and is not suited for more than one family. Our goal as owners of this Farm is to in the next 5 years convert this farm into a profitable farm by farming the land and raising cattle. We both feel that without the mobile home it will make it extremely difficult for us to care and assist Gloria's parents (Mr. & Mrs. Ramirez) and still accomplish our goals. Thank You. The potential noncompliance with the Weld County Code is a mobile home located at 25817 CR 20. At the time the permit was applied for, Mr. Robertson and Ms. Sloan were the owner/applicants of record. According to County records, it appears that Lot B of AmRE-3268, which the mobile home was located, has been sold to you, which you are now the responsible for the mobile home. A building permit, PRS-023044, applied for on May 31, 2002, has never been issued and the permit has expired. A zoning permit (ZPMH-2324), to allow the mobile home to be placed on the property, was also never completed due to lack of information. The last site inspection conducted, the mobile home was still at this location, and is in violation as it has not been properly permitted. New permits will need to be applied for and approved as ownership has changed on this site. If you mobile home has been removed from the site, please contact our office and we can conduct another site inspection.
