RE: . APPROVAL TO PURCHASE A COMPLETE ENGINE AND CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
AND WAIVER OF BIDDING PROCEDURE FOR THE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has been informed
of the need to purchase a complete engine and clutch assembly for
use in the road and bridge gravel operation, and .
WHEREAS, said engine and clutch assembly is available from
Acnne Precision Engineering, and
WHEREAS, the Board finds that the above stated matter is
an emergency situation and desires to waive the bidding Proce-
dure as time is of the essence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the bidding procedure
concerning the purchase of a complete engine and clutch assembly
be, and hereby is, waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that approval is hereby given to purchase the engine and clutch
assembly from Acnne Precision Engineering for $3 , 760 . 00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
August , A. D. , 1980 .
