Explain , in detail, the proposed use of the property. My proposed use is to breed, raise, and sell purebred dogs. 2. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code, Chapter 22. It will allow me to continue to be a stay at home with my children and still have an income, and this is consistent with Chapter 22. 3. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code ,Chapter 23 and the zone district in which it is located. No structure will be built as part of this proposal,if a need for a building happens it will meet all zoning regulations. 4. What type of use surrounds the site? Explain how the proposed use is consistent and compatible with surrounding land uses. The surrounding land is agricultural and ranching, there also, is a dairy close by . The surrounding land - owners raise their products and sell them for their livelihood. 5. Describe, in detail, the following: a. How many people will use this site? A dogs can have 2 litters a year ( if allowed to), and pugs normal litter size is 1 to 5 puppies. So I a am looking at a possibility of 15 to 30 people using this site. b. How many employees are proposed to be employed at this site? This will be a family run , so 3 people will be helping care for the needs of the kennel. c. What are the hours of operation? Work in the kennel will be between 8am to 5pm., to sell the dogs/puppies will be by appoint- ment only. d. What type and how many structures will be erected (built) on this site? The building is loft. X lift , and the dog run will be 20ft x 10ft on a cement slap, with a roof covering it. The holding pen will be built it will be 10 ft x 10 ft with a roof over it and on a cement slap. e. What type and how many animals ,if any, will be on this site? There will be purebred dogs, no more than 10 adult dogs and there will be the litter(s) of puppies. f. What kind (type, size, weight) of vehicles will access this site and how often? Personal vehicles will access this site , they will be present when ,selling a dog/puppies , when supplies are delivered ,and when veterinary services are needed . g. Who will provide fire protection to the site ? The Hudson Fire Dept. will provide the protection to the site. h. What is the water source on the property? (Both domestic and irrigation). For the kennel it will be a commercial well , and for the houses and yards it will be a domestic well. I. What is the sewage disposal system on the property? (Existing and proposed). We have a septic tank for the houses . j If storage or warehousing is proposed, what type of items will be stored? There will be storage in the dog shed which may consist of: dog food, first aid supplies ( both dog and human), cleaning supplies for kennel, whelping supplies, record supplies ,and any other supplies needed to run the kennel. 6. Explain the proposed landscaping for the site. The landscaping shall be separately submitted as a landscaping plan map as part of the application submittal. No additional landscaping at this time is planned. 7. Explain any proposed reclamation procedures when termination of the Use by Special Review. Removal of the dog runs and supplies. 8. Explain how the storm water drainage will be handle on the site. The cement slap for the dog run will have a slat to it for the water to run off , there is a drainage hole in the front of the house for this drainage purpose. 9. Explain how long it will take to construct this site and when construction and landscaping is scheduled to begin. N/A 10. Explain where storage and/or stockpile of wastes will occur on this site. There will he purebred dogs . at the present time I have AKC. Pugs, but I would like to leave it open to he able to breed other types it'the opportunity arises., No more than 10 adult dogs and there will he the litter(s) of puppies. Al the present time I have 4 females . 3 of which can have litters.
