RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY, AND AUTHORIZE
SALE OF SAME TO STEVE APGAR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Code require that all items disposed of
be declared surplus by the Board of County Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain equipment, described as a 1996
E-350 Ford Ambulance, VIN #1 FDLE40F8THB34878, is no longer required for County use, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a proposal for the purchase for said
equipment from Steve Apgar, 5200 Howe Lane, Laramie, Wyoming 82070, for and in
consideration of the sum of $6,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to declare said equipment as surplus and
approve said purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared
surplus.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the purchase of said equipment by
Steve Apgar, for $6,000.00, be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of August, A.D., 2004.
