RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Tonya Strobel be appointed to said board as the
District 3 representative, to replace John Hutson, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Chad Auer be appointed to said board as the
At-large representative, to replace Tim Tracy, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tonya Strobel and Chad Auer to said
board, with terms to expire July 31, 2006 and July 31, 2004, respectively.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Tonya Strobel and Chad Auer be,and hereby are,appointed to the Planning
Commission, with terms to expire July 31, 2006, and July 31, 2004, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 12th day of April, A.D., 2004.
