HomeMy WebLinkAbout20050332.tiff Minutes` WELD COUNTY, O;UN1II- j: t: December 21, 2004 Tape 12A-20Rd E _, - _- The Weld County Council met in regular session in full conformity with the Weld County Home Rule Charter, Tuesday, December 21, 2004, 6:30 p.m., at Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley, CO. ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to order by President Douglas Rademacher. Vice President Chip Marks, and Councilman Dwaine Kurtz, were present, constituting a quorum of the members. Councilmen Martin and Sander were excused. Also present: Jane Rademacher, Gene Stille, Gary Thomas, and Council secretary, Bev Thomas. AGENDA ADDITIONS/APPROVAL: The agenda was approved as printed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made, seconded and carried unanimously to approve the November 16, 2004 Council minutes. PUBLIC COMMENT: There was no public comment. NEW BUSINESS: Weld County Computer Security Breach Council President Douglas Rademacher reported on his meeting with Sheriff John Cooke regarding the investigation of the security breach of Weld County's computers. Mr. Rademacher summarized the jail's current procedures to prevent future security breaches. The County Council will continue to follow the investigation, and will host a presentation to review the findings when the investigation has been completed. Payment of the Bills A motion was made, seconded and carried to approve the bills.
