Weld County Council to Elect 2004 Officers
& Hear from County Extension Director Jim Smith
The Weld County Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. January 20, 2003 in the first
floor hearing room of Weld County's Centennial Center, 915 10th St., in Greeley. The
Council will elect its 2004 President and Vice President, and hear from Jim Smith, Weld
County Extension Director. Mr. Smith will explain the relationship between the
Extension Office and county, state and federal governments. He will also review the
Extension's budget and retirement of Extension personnel.
Weld County residents are encouraged to attend Weld County Council meetings
to discuss ideas or concerns regarding Weld County government. For more
