RE: SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1431
FOR AN RV PARK AND STORAGE AND RECREATION AREA IN THE
A(AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - MARLIN NESS
A public hearing was conducted on January 21, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Robert D. Masden, Chair
Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem
Commissioner M. J. Geile - EXCUSED
Commissioner David E. Long
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman
Health Department representative, Char Davis
Public Works representative, Donald Carroll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated December 31,2003,and duly published January 8,
2004,in the South Weld Sun,a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Marlin Ness
fora Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1431 for an RV Park and
Storage and Recreation Area in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison,Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated
the notice for the Planning Commission hearing scheduled for January 6,2004,was not published
in sufficient time, therefore, the hearing was continued to January 20, 2004, at which time the
Planning Commission voted to recommend denial. Mr. Gathman stated the applicant's
representative,Tony Evans,indicated they would like to proceed,and he requested this hearing be
continued to January 28, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. The applicant was not present, and no public
testimony was offered concerning this matter.
CommissionerJerke moved to continue the request of Marlin Ness fora Site Specific Development
Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1431 for an RV Park and Storage and Recreation Area
in the A(Agricultural)Zone District,to January28,2004,at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Vaad,and it carried unanimously. There being no further discussion,the hearing
was completed at 10:10 a.m.
