RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND
OF TAXES -TOWN OF SEVERANCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a
duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 27th day of September,2004, at which meeting
there were present the following members: Chair Robert D. Masden, and Commissioners M. J.
Geile, William H. Jerke, and Glenn Vaad, with Commissioner David E. Long being excused, and
WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to continue said petition to October4,
2004, at 9:00 a.m., to allow the Town of Severance to respond.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Petition for Abatement or Refund of Taxes for 2002/2003 - Town of
Severance, be, and hereby is, continued to October 4, 2004 at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 27th day of September, A.D., 2004.
