RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Extension Advisory Council, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Kent Lynch be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Bill Hedberg be appointed to said board to
replace Tom Haren; that Sandra Lamontagne be appointed to said board to replace Carol Karre;
and that Richard Rowe be appointed to said board to replace Judy Griego, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Kent Lynch, and to appoint Bill
Hedberg, and Richard Rowe to said board, with terms to expire November 1, 2007, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sandra Lamontagne to said board,with
a term to expire November 1, 2006.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Kent Lynch be,and hereby is,reappointed to the Extension Advisory Council,
with a term to expire November 1, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Bill Hedberg and Richard Rowe be, and
hereby are, appointed to the Extension Advisory Council, to replace Tom Haren and Judy Griego,
respectively, with terms to expire November 1, 2007, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Sandra Lamontagne be, and hereby is,
appointed to the Extension Advisory Council, to replace Carol Karre, with a term to expire
November 1, 2006.
