RE: B&B Custom Milling (Shop Rental)
1. The building will he rented to Wes Buhr of B&B Custom Milling. It will be used for
industrial machine work, including build up and turning off shafts for bearings and seals.
Repairing and rebuilding hydraulic motors, cylinders, etc. B&B also fabricates
miscellaneous parts for local farmers. The building will also be an office for
administrative work.
2. The proposal is consistent with Weld County Code Chapter 22. The use of this
building will be located on the five acres owned by Rainbow Tank Services. Inc. and will
not interfere with the use of any farmland.
I The use of this property will be consistent with the use by special review into the
commercial or industrial zone districts. The building will be used for industrial machine
work. The uses will be compatible with the surrounding land uses.
4. The surrounding uses to the North, East and West and are agricultural land. To the
South is residential property with a landscaping business.

10. B&B disposes of trash items in a B&C Refuse dumpster. All metal and scrap iron,
shavings, etc. are stored in a metal dumpster tank. That is disposed of at Anderson's
Salvage. All waste oil from machines is collected and transferred into Rainbow EPA
approved oil burning heater.

B&B Custom Milling&Machine is an industrial machine shop.Our hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Monday thru Friday. 9:00 AM thru 12:00 PM on Saturdays. Closed Sundays.
We repair broken equipment for Action Oilfield Services,Greeley Electric, Hillside Rental, Strohouer
Farms, Miller Feedlot,Art Kiser,as well as other farms and oilfield companies in the area. We also accept
walk in customers.
For Action Oilfield,we have made pins and bushings for various pieces of equipment and things like
removing broken bolts.
For Greeley Electric, we build up and turn armature shafts for bearings or seals and even output shafts to
factory specs with keyways. We also bore and sleeve end caps for bearings in electric motors.
For Hillside Rental,we repair and rebuild hydraulic motors and cylinders and other repair work on
various pieces of equipment.
For Strohouer Farms,we make shafts for planters and disks, and general welding.
For miller feedlot, we repair or rebuild centrifugal water pumps,and general welding.
For Art Kiser,we replaced shaft on mulcher and general welding.
General welding and repair for other farms and oilfield services in the area.
If they can brake it I can usually fix it.
Our trash is disposed of in Rainbows trash dumpster at the front of the property.
Our used oil goes in Rainbows used oil container to be burned in their shop heater.
Metal shavings are disposed of in the steel metal container in the back of the yard
I have 15 years experience in the machine work field and started B&B Custom Milling&Machine in
1997. And I love what I do.
1. Conducting business for Rainbow Services, including office work, preventative maintenance
of equipment in the shop. Parking for trucks, backhoe and storage of miscellaneous
equipment (tanks, trailers, etc.)
2. The proposal is consistent with Weld County Code Chapter 22. The use of this property will
be located only on the five-acre parcel and will not interfere with the use of any additional
farmland.
3. The use of this property will be consistent with use by special review in the commercial or
industrial zone districts. The property will be used for the parking of trucks, storage of clean
frac tanks, administrative office, and the maintenance of equipment. The uses will be
compatible with the existing and surrounding land uses.
4. The surrounding uses to the north, east and west are irrigated farm ground. The south
surrounding area is a residence and landscaping business. The property is located one and
one half miles east of LaSalle and to my knowledge there are no proposed plans for land
development in this area.

Scrap iron is stored in an open top tank and disposed of at Andersen's Salvage. The refuse
and trash are collected in a three yard dumpster onsite and hauled off by B&C Refuse.
