RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO BOARD OF PUBLIC
HEALTH
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Linda Kautz be appointed to said board, to
replace Roy Spitzer as an at-large member, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Weitzel and Denny Williams be
reappointed to said board as the District 2 and District 3 representative, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Linda Kautz to said board, and to
reappoint William Weitzel and Denny Williams to said board, with terms to expire May 23, 2007.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Linda Kautz be,and hereby is, appointed to the Board of Public Health, with
a term to expire May 23, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that William Weitzel and Denny Williams be
reappointed to said board, with terms to expire May 23, 2007.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 20th day of September, A.D., 2004.
