RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO HUMAN SERVICES
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Human Services Committee, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Tom Denning be appointed to said board as the
parent policy representative, to replace Dawn Klaus, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Cornelia Dietz, Mary Fox,and Yvonne Benavides
be reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tom Denning to said board,with a term
to expire December 31, 2004, and to reappoint Cornelia Dietz, Mary Fox,and Yvonne Benavides,
with terms to expire December 31, 2005, December 31, 2006, and December 31, 2006,
respectively.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tom Denning be, and hereby is, appointed to the Human Services
Committee, with a term to expire December 31, 2004.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Cornelia Dietz, Mary Fox, and Yvonne
Benavides be,and herebyare,reappointed to said board,with terms to expire December 31,2005,
December 31, 2006, and December 31, 2006, respectively.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 3rd day of May, A.D., 2004.
