SUBJECT: NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF ANNEXATION PETITION
TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
Please be advised that Colorado Interstate Gas an El Paso Corporation has withdrawn
their petition for annexation. A copy of the letter requesting withdrawal is attached. This
notice is in response to the notice of annexation proceedings sent on April 2, 2004.

annexation petition to annex 73.5 more or less acres to the City from Colorado Interstate
Gas for the El Paso Tech Park
Dear Mr. Grubb:
Colorado Interstate Gas Company(CIG) an El Paso Corporation, represented herein by
Land, Inc., a Colorado corporation, respectfully gives notice to the City of Fort Lupton
that it is withdrawing the annexation petition for the annexation of approximately 73.50
acres located in a parcel of land situated in the East one-half of section 34, Township 2
North, Range 66 West, 6th PM, County of Weld, Colorado.
CIG's reason for withdrawing the application is based on a change in corporate direction
by senior management/operations and uncertain plans for the future. We appreciate the
time and effort that the City planner had put forth in working with CIG.
