Be it resolved by the Weld County Planning Commission that the application for: Revised submittal dates for the 2004 Planning Year be recommended favorably to the Board of County Commissioners for the following reasons: Please see attached exhibits. CSR 2004-1499 464(44.- 640 MEMORANDUM Wi` a TO: Weld County Planning Commissioners COLORADO DATE: April 6, 2004 FROM: Kim Ogle, Planning Manager SUBJECT: Revised 2004 Planning Commission Hearing Submittal Deadlines for Specific Hearing Dates The Department of Planning Services is requesting a modification to the 2004 Planning Commission Hearing application submittal deadline. The Weld County Board of County Commissioners on March 1, 2004 approved the staff recommendation for an additional seven days of referral agency review for all landuse applications. Previously the referral period was twenty-one (21) days and under the post March 1, 2004 date, all referral agencies are provided twenty-eight (28) days. Given this amendment to the Weld County Code, the Department of Planning Services is requesting that the Planning Commission endorse and approve this request for requiring applications to be submitted seven (7) days earlier than the current application submittal deadline. For the purposes of review, please find attached the approved and the proposed revision to the Planning Commission Hearing Submittal Deadline. The Department of Planning Services requests a favorable recommendation be forwarded to the Board of County Commissioners. The attached map will be relied upon to assist in hearing venue assignments. In order to obtain the most appropriate hearing location, a two week delay may result.
