Wi` a TO: Weld County Planning Commissioners
COLORADO DATE: April 6, 2004
FROM: Kim Ogle, Planning Manager
SUBJECT: Revised 2004 Planning Commission Hearing Submittal
Deadlines for Specific Hearing Dates
The Department of Planning Services is requesting a modification to the 2004 Planning
Commission Hearing application submittal deadline. The Weld County Board of County
Commissioners on March 1, 2004 approved the staff recommendation for an additional seven
days of referral agency review for all landuse applications. Previously the referral period was
twenty-one (21) days and under the post March 1, 2004 date, all referral agencies are provided
twenty-eight (28) days. Given this amendment to the Weld County Code, the Department of
Planning Services is requesting that the Planning Commission endorse and approve this
request for requiring applications to be submitted seven (7) days earlier than the current
application submittal deadline.
For the purposes of review, please find attached the approved and the proposed revision to the
Planning Commission Hearing Submittal Deadline.
The Department of Planning Services requests a favorable recommendation be forwarded to
