RE: APPROVE REMOVAL OF EQUIPMENT FROM PROPERTY LIST
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , a 1978 Dodge Monaco, Equipment Number 6504039 ,
destroyed by bombing approximately five years ago, remains on
the property control sheets for the IGA - Motor Pool Fund, and
WHEREAS , the Director of Finance and Administration and the
Equipment Service Manager have recommended that this item be
sold as scrap metal and deleted from the property control sheets
and IGA - Motor Pool be relieved of accountability for the item.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Director of Fi-
nance and Administration be, and hereby is directed to remove
the 1978 Dodge Monaco, Equipment Number 6504039 , from the equip-
ment control sheets and property inventory for Weld County.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
June, A.D. , 1984.

sob)ect: 1978 Dodge Monaco, Asset #6504039
Approximately five years ago, the Sheriff's patrol vehicle
was destroyed by a bomb in Fort Lupton. The remains of the
vehicle were moved to a county storage yard in Fort Lupton
to be used for parts. The vehicle has been stripped of all
usable parts, and has no value to the shop operation. Approval
of this reauest would enable us to move the vehicle off of
the asset list, and sell the remains for scrap.
