HomeMy WebLinkAbout20041703.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION VI #0400006 AGAINST RICHARD AND CAROLYN BAUSERMAN FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Richard and Carolyn Bauserman,VI#0400006, are allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and WHEREAS,despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter,the violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of June, 2004, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Richard and Carolyn Bauserman were not present or represented at said hearing, although all parties were notified of said hearing by Department of Planning Services staff, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to bring legal action against those individuals named above to correct said violation. As there has been no progress, this permit has been withdrawn and the property is now is violation of a building without a permit. If you plan to begin construction, it will be necessary to apply for a new permit, submit all the applicable information, and pay the necessary fees. The other option is to remove the house from the property. To avoid further violation action, please apply for a new permit or remove the house within 30 days from the date of this letter. Keep in mind that permits are valid for 180 days from the date of issue. If regular inspections are performed, the permit is extended accordingly.
