RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES WITHIN ARISTOCRAT
RANCHETTES SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the Board
that 102 Stop signs be installed within Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision, to ensure safety to the
traveling public, and
WHEREAS, at a meeting before the Board on July 19, 2004,this matter was continued to
August 18, 2004, to allow staff time to provide notice to affected residents of the subdivision, and
WHEREAS,at said meeting on August 18, 2004, staff requested this matter be continued
to September 1,2004,since a meeting of area homeowners is scheduled for August 18,2004,and
WHEREAS, at said meeting on August 18, 2004, having heard all the testimony of those
present and, having been fully informed,the Board has determined that this item be continued two
additional weeks.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Installation of Traffic Control Devices within Aristocrat Ranchettes
Subdivision be, and hereby is, continued to September 1, 2004, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of August, A.D., 2004.
